“My time working with Donna was originally to help me with anxiety around getting back into work and in particular coping with job interviews.  Before we could get into that we needed to strip back my life and identify that my world was based upon a habit in the brain built around negative and destructive thinking.  Moving forward then became about learning a new lifestyle which puts anxiety management at its core.

The techniques which are now part of my daily routine are helping me to maintain my wellness and keeping me safe in a new world which is challenging but exciting and bright.

Havening and Self-hypnosis

“I have had the pleasure of working with Donna Edmondson-Jones recently for a few weeks. She used a variety of techniques, including Havening and Self-hypnosis for helping me with some emotional trauma resulting from a difficult childhood.

I found all the techniques very helpful in resolving my emotional issues. The most particular thing I noticed was that I could bring to mind various incidents from my childhood, without invoking the habitual emotional reaction associated with them.

Anxiety

“I have been working with Donna since the 12th of June and she has completely changed my anxiety. whilst being off sick from work (with work related anxiety). When I started to see her my anxiety became less due to her wellness tools. There are lots of techniques shown so that you can do it in any kind of situation. I was quite shocked at the difference it was making to my life  I now no longer have negative thoughts and my anxiety is normal not heightened. 

I’ve been able to sign up to a new position in September which I thought I wouldn’t be able to do due to how unwell I originally was. Donna really listens and empathises. Eating Addictions

“After beginning the sessions with a desire to cure me of my eating addictions, Donna quickly made me realise that my issues did not lie with food. In fact, the way I spoke about/to myself, my coping strategies when I’m stressed and my bad habits were where the problems were born. Throughout the sessions I improved the way I talk about myself, consequently improving my self esteem and I learned how to 

properly manage my life. Working with Donna I applied lots of new coping strategies (havening, EFT, visualisation and more) into my every day schedule. This allowed me to properly manage my time, let go of emotionally draining energy, protect my own energy and stay well while having a busy schedule- therefore not turning to food for comfort, reward or convenience. Outlining in a wellness web all of the things that keep me fit and well, helps me really check in with myself at the end of each month and I can identify what I have done well and what I can improve on next month. I can now see that the small habits make the biggest difference and it’s okay to not have to do and be everything this second- good habits take time. Changing small negative habits day by day adds to the respect I am now building for myself and I look forward to my progress every day. “

Anxiety and Depression
